ah, thursday. one of my favorite days. mainly because of the cosby mini-marathon on nick at night (monday is good because of this too).

well, today sucked at work, kindof. i had to do this kind of insane drill. sitting for 8 hours and thinking is not fun. ive never felt so drained from anything before. plus, i sucked at the drill. but hopefully ill be ok. i think i will. at least its over. well, i had a good idea for a blog, but i dont have time. gotta go to sleep soon.

ill just talk about my earlier days for a bit then. i remember when i used to go to drexel school in cicero, i thought i was a lot smarter than i really was. definitely due to the low quality students. but they were cool. i miss those days. 5 on 5 baseball played with my friends using the opposite field out rule... we had a girl that we called "pig" in my class. she wasnt fat, she just had a pig nose... getting a huge game of tag in, involving about 50 people, with 5 people "it" and safe zones 100 yards apart (using jukes were important)...anyways, the "smart" kids were in classes that had 2 grades in one class. so, the 15 smartest 2nd graders and the 15 smartest 3rd graders made up one class, 15 smartest 4th graders and 15 smartest 5th graders made up a class, etc. i remember when i was a 4th grader, we would do multiplication circle races. put a number in the middle and then the twelve other numbers around it in a circle (first in order, then we moved on to random placement). then figure the middle times each number and write it next to it. there were always a few contenders, but i would usually emerge from the 4th graders. and it was a sure bet that the 5th grader would always be...monica (forgot her last name). but we would always have furious battles. the whole class would always be amazed at our expert handling of the chalk, writing so fast as if the answers just flowed from our fingers. all the 4th graders would be behind me, looking for a way to score a point in our rivalry with the 5th graders. all the 5th graders cheering for monica...they can't lose to a 4th grader! you'd think with a whole extra year of multiplying numbers, any 5th grader would blow a 4th grader out of the water. but thats why the smart classes were so special. anything can happen. ok, i would lose sometimes, when the middle number was 5. but come on, 5? putting 5 in the middle is like racing a marathon runner against some fat guy over 2 feet instead of over 27 miles or whatever. whoever did good with 7, 8, 9, 12 were the cream of the crop. the "grade vs. grade" dynamic was awesome. it might seem weird, but something like this makes you wish you were back in 4th grade, where you can feel like a stud because you can multiply faster than the 5th grade chick (i bet shes hot now).

(tokyo breakfast theme song plays)

good mohrning to yoo,... niigaaaaaaa.

if someone who's reading this doesnt know what thats from, look up tokyo breakfast in kazaa. its funny.

anyways. nothing much happened lately. i have to take this drill soon for work thats one of the steps to work by myself. ive heard from the others that its pretty intense. hopefully it doesnt suck.

anyways, i just was thinking, maybe im just a lazy sack, but i realized i dont really like to go out and do stuff. i mean, i like going out once in a while, but staying at home or chilling at someones place almost never fails to entertain me. well, i guess i like to stay home even more with the recent additions of cable tv, cable modem, and ps2.

also, now that i work, its like every minute is so important to me on weekdays. if i have to stay extra 10-15 minutes for work, you'd think its no big deal, right? but now, i think, "man, this is 10 less minutes to play tricky" (video game). or if someone is taking a shower while i am supposed to be brushing my teeth: "man, 10 less minutes to go to sleep". i think 10 minutes of distracted blog writing while watching cubs is as important as 10 minutes of doing anything else.

ok laters
