like the new background?
hopefully i get the ps2 network adapter tomorrow. im dispatching chras to buy it for me, since i have to work. it should be good. madden online! hey vic, tell me if you get it, we can play socom together or something, haha. i should stop buying stuff. you know that friends where ross, monica and chandler are rich, and joey, rachel and phoebe are poor? when one of them goes "we dont think of money as an issue," and then rachel goes "that's because you have it," seems true to me. i know it shouldnt matter, but it does. maybe it wouldnt matter if i lived in a shack and had no friends to hang out with. but im not at that stage of my life yet. anyways, on with the blog.
ok, lets try this again. im gonna see whats on tv now. this time, no aim on so i can finish this in under an hour. and hopefully, i can get to seinfeld.
2 (cbs) - letterman i used to watch this show a lot in jr. high and early high school. then it just tapered off for some reason. but i think hes funny cause hes kindof mean. one of the funniest things ever is when he makes rupert do stuff on the street. anyways, now he just finished his monologue, and he's recounting what im sure is an hilarious anectdote. (yes, i put an there on purpose) but, i have to get moving.
3 (at&t broadband channel) - channel surfing with USA exclusive at least thats what it says on the background. its mr. perfect!! i remember him. of the wwf. and some other average looking chick. next.
4 (univision) - news always a good pick if you like to listen to spanish. i dont.
5 (nbc) - leno leno's ok. i started watching him more than letterman in high school for some reason. dont know why, because he's not that funny. but i did. the only thing i like from him is headlines.
6 (local) - city of darien bulletin board "be a good neighbor, help stop vandalism." $50 dollar reward! call 911 if you see vandalism in progress. hahaahahah. yeah, i think the local 911 dispatchers are bored. hmm, did you know the city of darien requires a permit for garage sales? ok, i better switch before i spend 10 mins on this channel.
7 (abc) - nightline hmm, i bet they are talking about something in the news.
8 (upn) - roseanne hey, its the hotel concierge from home alone 2. haha. thats a quality movie.
9 (wgn) - drew carey never really watched this show, but kate is pretty hot.
10 (wciu) - commercial 2 king supremes at bk for $2.
11 (wttw) - ??? something just finished. i see rolling credits... no!!! seinfeld better not be over.
12 (fox) seinfeld? commercials now. hopefully i catch the last segment... arby's new buffalo dippin fingers. i want some. NICE. its back. jerry's driving a bmw. and he's giving it away to some homeless guy. oh this is the one with the bad b.o. "this is beyond b.o. this is b.b.o!" haha. seinfeld is one of the funniest shows. anyways, ill write a seinfeld blog some other time, i have a lot more blog here to write. this is taking a long time :(
13 (pax) rerun of wmaq 5 news nice, sports is on. talking about the strike. i dont care because cubs and sox suck, and my fantasy team sucks. cubs highlights...nice, they suck. wood lost, even though he didnt pitch that bad. but what else is new.
14 (some mexican station) some mexican talk show "abandone a mis hihos y ahora me arrepiento" is what it says. boring. yo quiero un chorizo.
16 (???) - intallation of timothy dolan as archbishop of milwaukee not applicable
17 (wjyx) - jbtv nice, jbtv. for those of you who dont know, this is a show that plays white music. i watched this show when i first got started in white music, like freshman year in hs. this show was awesome. although they play more obscure videos, its a good program. i remember seeing seether by veruca salt and doll parts by hole when the songs first came out. jbtv is a very nostalgic show for me.
18 (tv guide) - tv listings i never use this. but sometimes i notice the commercials they have at the top.
19 (public access channel) - some amateur sitcom type show haha this is hilarious. the footage is such bad quality, like camcorder. hahahah, they are pretending they're charlie's angels. you have to see it to see how funny this is.
20 (???) - charlie rose i think thats this guys name. he's interviewing judy dench (i think that's her name). shes hot.
21 (c-span2) - some press conference i cant make everything funny, can i? (not that i have been) its not even c-span, its c-span2.
22 (another mexican station) some mexican movie the greatest part of having cable is having more than 2 mexican channels. sorry, dont mean to be dissing mexican stations, but they are only good for one thing: world cup soccer.
23 (c-span) - american writers .....
24 (animal planet) - some animal show animal planet is a solid channel. it never has anything awesome, but when there's nothing else on, there will probably be something interesting on this channel. right now, they are playing with scorpions. hey, im a scorpio.
26 (fox news) - news a segment about the senate seat in arkansas. right....
28 (tnn) - mad tv i never really got into this show. i always thought of it as a rip-off of saturday night live. ok, gonna watch for 20 sec.................nope, didnt laugh.
29 (mtv) videos jimmy eat world- the middle is on. i think this videos kinda cool (where everyone is in their underwear). i liked this song a lot more before i heard it every 2 seconds. but this video and song is not cool enough for me to keep from flipping. ::flips::
30 (vh1) - behind the music: metallica dont like them that much. if they ever did one about pumpkins, it would be awesome. so much stuff to make a show about. drug use, band infighting, billys huge ego, dating within the band, bandmates quitting. they have the usual rise to superstardom, then the adversity with firing jimmy and having fans not like them when they changed their sound, then their rise to the top again (not really). ok, better change before it turns to a pumpkins blog again.
31 (usa) - nash bridges its cheech. (or chong?) i never watched any of their movies, but all i know is theres a lot of weed involved.
32 (fsc) - best damn sports show period this show is aight. john kruk always gets pissed when someone makes fun of him. he frowns and gets all quiet, haaha. an michael irvin just keeps laughing at him, while everyone else gets the hint.
33 (espn) - baseball tonight a fantasy baseball owner's best friend. i remember there was 15 minutes till one of the first baseball tonights a few months ago. me and dudo were hungry. so we ran all the way to mykonos, got our food, and ran all the way back. we got back in time. oh gagne highlight. NICE, he got a save. a good hodalis and gagne combo.
34 (espn2) - tony hawk special a whole bunch of people skateboarding. oiy: "SHOCKER!!!"
35 (cnn headline news) - news oiy: "SHOCKER!!!"
36 (cnn) - larry king this is the most ive ever watched of this show. talking about some killer. death penalty or life in prison? how about making him sit in a car for an hour and listening to "heaven" every other song?
37 (cltv) - news i just saw something flash about sports page live on downers south. #1 preseason in state, baby. they are getting a lot of attention, hopefully they dont blow it.
38 (cnbc) - capital report topic: tort reform. ....how about i FORM A RETORT HAHAHAHhahaha..ha.hah. ha......ha......hehe. (good thing all these news shows put what they are talking about on the bottom, otherwise i'd be lost)
39 (the weather channel) - weather reports NICE. ok, i read dudos thing about weather forecasts. im going to defend weather forecasts here. you know, ive never had a problem with weather forecasts. theyre serviceable for me, the average person. but for me, the NERC certified systems operator, the weather forecast is a huge part of the job. the predicted highs and rain for the day are important to show what areas you have to worry about. and it seems that most of the time, the weather is right, and a good indicator of load for my job. anyways, if you want me to explain further, you can acks me.
40 (a&e) - biography its on joe montana. normally i'd watch some, but its getting late. ive always hated montana and the 49ers to some extent since 1989, when he beat the bears in soldier field in "bear weather".
41 (amc) - a movie a western movie it looks like.... i am running out of steam. this is taking so long.
42 (comedy channel) - some guy talking ironically, not comedic.
43 (E!) - wild on they are showing some naked guys riding motorcycles. is this really wild on? ah, there are the hot chicks. phew.
44 (sci-fi) - twilight zone when i was a kid, this music kind of scared me. i should watch it one of these days. didnt even know they still showed it. some guy has broken glasses and everything on earth is destroyed....reminds me of dudo after one of his drunken episodes. hahahahaha (if he still wore glasses).
45 (lifetime) - designing women more like "designing crap"
46 (nick) - all in the family looks like its all in the family today. i think this show is interesting, although i dont watch it that much. they talk about a lot of issues, like racism, rape, homophobia, etc. if archie's first name was "poong", that would be cool.
47 (cartoon network) - dragonball (i think) some anime cartoon. never really got into it. although those kenshin animes i saw with vic at loomis were cool.
48 (discovery channel) - people getting rescued in a cave i think this channel would be cool, if you were "discovering" interesting things instead of "discovering" boring crap
49 (tnt) - eraser an arnold schwarzenegger movie. i gotta go to sleep soon. ::flip::
50 (tbs) - spaceballs i remeber gulaya and nit would always want to watch this when me and b came over, when i was like 6 or 7. but we never got through it. so ive never seen this movie. i hear its funny tho.
51 (abc family) - commercial honey nut cheerios lower your cholesterol. sign me up.
52 (the learning channel) - junkyard wars i got nothin.
53 (home and garden tv) - something gay about interior design don't get me started on interior decorating.
54 (disney) - ??? ending credits of some show. dammit, i have to sleep very soon. im gonna pay for writing this blog. you guys better like it.
55 (espn classic) - espn sportscentury i guess they just finished one on greg lougayness. i remember watching him in the 88 olympics, that was the best olympics ever. we have like 5 tapes of it somewhere i think.
58 (fx) - movie some government guys are talking in a room. im losing momentum here..
59 (msnbc) - across america good thing i saw the opening credits, or i wouldnt know what show this is. hey its ashley banfield in front of cinergy field.
60 (food) - $40 a day this show is cool. this girl spends 40 dollars a day eating. as indicated by the title. the food network is a solid channel as well, much like animal planet. there is usually something good on, like iron chef.
62 (???) - installation mass of timothy dolan as archbishop of milwaukee maybe its late, but didnt i see this already?
63 (shopnbc) - home shopping who wants to buy a watch online? go to a damn watch store!
64 (travel channel) - something about bats reminds me of that calvin and hobbes where calvin had to write a report on bats.
66 (bet) - black comedian i never like watching these. its never funny. anuj, however thinks its hilarious. but he likes anything on bet.
67 (???) - black preacher the only thing worse is a white preacher. or an asian preacher. haha kidding.
69 (???) - elvis cd infomercial uncle jesse liked elvis a lot.
70 (country music channel) - some career retrospective of some country singer if you ever have an argument with someone about good music, artists, etc., there is one thing you both will always agree upon: country music sucks. this calls for mad flippage ::FLIP::
71 (oxygen) - ??? something about wearing stuff in school. i must finish.
72 (fx) - commercial make this labor day even more colorful at lowes.
73 (tv land) - commercials i am extremely disappointed with this channel. why dont they have any good shows? the only one i like is lucy.
77 (court tv) - homicide since i got cable, i have never seen them show a court case, only police/law shows. interesting.
and im done. ok i have to go to sleep. hopefully you enjoyed it. next time (if) i do this, ill make sure i have a day off next. its not as good as i thought it would be, but i just flew through this. and it still took 1.5 hours. ok laters.
