hi.
some little things to talk about first. pearl jam was on letterman today. eddie vedder looked weird with a typical 30 year old male poofy hair combed back hairdo. kindof like...ben affleck hair, or people like rich eisen or steve lyons. he looks weird without the shoulder length curly grunge hair. anyways, their new song is pretty good. also, i've watched 10 sopranos episodes so far since tuesday, and i intend to finish the last 3 tonight, making 13 hours of sopranos watched in 3 days. i like sopranos. anyways on to my special, but brief blog story that has a bold title.
food poisoning
i've always wondered why no one in our family has gotten food poisoning yet. my mom leaves out beef she's gonna use on the counter for hours. in fact, that's how she defrosts chicken and beef. she leaves it on the counter overnight. from my education in 7th grade home economics, this causes the buildup of bacteria, like salmonella, and will give you food poisoning. you are supposed to keep it in the freezer and microwave it just before you use it. that's not how my parents do things, though. homer: "that's not good". like today, i ate beef in my noodle dish cooked after it spent probably about 16 hours on the counter. but you know what, i don't care. it still tastes good and i haven't gotten sick or died yet. maybe me and b have built a tolerance for these bacteria or something. i know everyone that was born in thailand definitely have iron stomachs or something. in thailand, there are these outside shops and little restaurant booths that have food sitting out there all day, of course with no health code restrictions. i think they are cool. but i must have had diarrhea about 2 of the 3 weeks i spent in thailand the last time i visited. but hey, it's just diarrhea, right? my mom and dad don't get sick at all whenever we go to thailand. the point to this story is: americans have pussy stomachs. haha.
laters.

hi everyone.
sorry, i haven't updated my blog in a while. been busy with work, but now i'm off for a while.
if anyone wants to see the #2 ranked band in piya's top 6 bands contest, local h will be playing at canopy club on saturday, dec 7th. i am planning on seeing them, so if anyone is interested, come with me.
working nights and weekends is really depressing. it basically consists of 12 hours by yourself, and if it's a weekend, i'm always thinking of how much fun everyone is having, and how much ass all of my boys are getting. which is always tons. especially stork, with all of his physical tools. i visited him a couple of days ago after sushi, and his headboard has like 24 notches already. what a stud. anyways, working nights is also very boring. but now i am going to start bringing in my cds and pumpkins bootlegs that i never listen to. last weekend i was listening to the white stripes cd. it's awesome. "dead leaves on the dirty ground" has one of the best riffs ever. it's one of those albums where the more you listen to it, the better it gets. i will have to check out their other 2 albums. so they will be the next band to get a chance to crack my topmost tier of bands, trying to go where TLC, the last strong candidate, couldn't. also, listening to the second to last pumpkins concert was cool. it brought back a lot of good memories. anyways, the point is, don't hesitate to call me or email me if you are bored as well, when you know i am working a night. i guess seeing a fat bonus for working nights on my paycheck takes some of the pain away though. still, i would rather work nights than days. waking up at 3:45 am is brutal.
hahhahah, it's 2:40 now, and brady bunch is on. the sports guy is right, it's hilarious to watch the brady bunch knowing the dad is gay. hahahahha. oh man, this episode is about how bobby thinking that carol is going to be mean because he saw cinderella, and the stepmother was mean. you wouldn't see a plot like that nowadays in sitcoms.
one thing i don't agree with the sports guy with is his ripping on the acting of aj soprano. aj soprano is hilarious. "what, no fuckin' ziti?" best line in any show ever.
ok bye.
