here's a rare work day blog, but it'll be short.

happy bday to dudo today, yay. ill say happy birthday to chras laters (like on the 28th).

im actually calling in to q101 to try to win those zwan museum tickets. theres no way i'll win. but i have to try, right? what sucks is that i have to leave q101 on and listen to win. at least ill have something to do at work tomorrow. also, they are playing songs other than "honestly", so thats cool.

oh yeah, zwan on letterman yesterday was eh. first of all, honestly is one of their weaker live songs so there's one strike against them. and they didnt mix up the guitars loud enough. billy and paz didnt sing well either. but all of them were probably tired from playing a show at metro, then flying into nyc. anyways, maybe im spoiled by the concerts, hahaha. at least paz was hot.

lates. 2 minute blogs rule.

ZWAN LOG (day 3)

hahahah.

dont worry kids, it was all be over soon. you wont hear anything anymore about zwan in this blog....until their album comes out next tuesday. hahahaha. oh yeah, they will be on letterman tonight, so be sure and watch them to see why i devoted 3 blogs to them. and also to see how hot paz is. btw, today's show was awesome again. and the opener was actually good this time (assassins). then again, im a sucker for bands with a chick in them, but still, their music was pretty good. anyways, on to zwan. they played a song that they wrote a week ago, or something, which was cool. anyways, after seeing them 3 times in 4 days, it will feel weird to not see them, like missing your relative who left after visiting from thailand or something for a couple weeks, except much less sad (hey, im not a freak................................ok, hey im not that big of a freak).

and there is nothing, nothing hotter than an attractive girl (like paz) playing bass with one of her shoulder straps from her dress come off to the side of her shoulder. nothing. of course, you are welcome to prove me wrong. haha.

i havent written a haiku in a while. what better topic than zwan.

zwan has awesome sound
they're very tight at live shows
with hot bassist, too

ok, laters. oh no, i gotta go back to work friday. i feel like edward norton in 25th hour.

god's gonna set this world on fire
....one of these days

zwan show #2 was awesome again, although not quite as good as the first day. only one encore. i feel shafted. haha, well not that much. also, the more i see paz, the more i like her. from seeing the shows, ive also determined shes pretty damn good at bass, better than melissa (i know, blasphemy). and i like her backing vocals. very nice. oh yeah, my view was pretty good, except for this one prick in front of me and dudo. after he moved up in front of us from buddha-knows-where (i hate those people), he kept telling this chick he came with (who was standing to the side of us) to move up with him. thankfully she didnt. but anyways, the guy kept moving and restricting my view. me and dudo were about to schtraight mollywhop that punk. anyways, it was all good in the end. ill post some pictures at the concert from chico's digital camera when i get them.

oh yeah, i forgot to say yesterday, the pat-down is the best part about goin to the concert. hahahaa. nothing like guys caressing almost every part of your body. but seriously, its kinda cool to feel like a criminal for 5 seconds. hahaha. well, maybe not.

i guess almost all of you are sick of hearing about zwan. hahaha, sorry, but writing this blog is as much for me as it is for you guys. here's a non-zwan related story. i got my first speeding ticket today. was talkin to my dad, so i wasnt paying attention. 56 in a 40 zone. sheeeeeit. it was funny because it was 75 bucks, and me, my dad, and my mom were scrounging for cash to pay it, so i wouldnt have to lose my license. so we ended up giving him 3 twenties, 2 fives, and 5 ones. hahahaha.

ok laters.

oh man.

in case you couldn't guess, zwan was awesome. you guys know the well known theory, if you expect something to be awesome, you are more likely to be let down because it won't meet your expectations. i thought zwan would be good, and they still blew me away. nothing like 3 layers of awesome guitar work to listen to. oh yeah, i think paz has moved up to #2 on my top rawk chicks list due to her performance. she looked really good tonight, with the wavy hair thing goin. also, she busted out the electric violin for one of the songs, which was cool. it seemed like her and billy were flirting a lot, like looking at each other when they sing and stuff. also, she patted him on the ass and kissed his cheek once. maybe somethins up there. jimmy was a beast on the drum kit as usual. he's like a freakin' octopus. im glad chico and smythe thought it was good too. ahhh. i was a little worried that going to 3 shows would be too much, but i am looking forward to it even more now.

anyways, the worst part about concerts is waiting for the band to come on. you think you are so close to getting to see them, but that makes the wait so much worse. but the best part is when the concert is about to start, and its all dark, and you can barely make out their silhouettes walking towards their instruments while everyone is goin nuts.

oh yeah, why do i always work weekends when the cool stuff happens. or maybe cool stuff happens every weekend, but i just notice it when i have to work. anyways, it sucks.

anyways, sorry this blog is so zwanny, but im in zwan mode.

laters.
