i watched the entire "top 40 reality tv moments" on vh1. it was awesome. and the sad part is, i think i saw like 30 of them before this show.
alsoo, i got to test drive a mazda rx-8 yesterday. INSANE. the only thing i could compare it to was driving in those daytona arcade games. was able to redline it at almost 10k(!) and got up to 50 mph in 2nd gear(!) in about 5 seconds(!). i think it would be hard for me to be disciplined in this car. i was goin almost 60 in a 30mph zone and i couldn't even tell, it's so smooth.

hello.
well, i guess i'm done with MAIN. you know, i've done a lot of complaining about this job, but when i look back at it, i can't imagine this job turning out better than it has. originally, this job was supposed to last 6 months tops, and hopefully i'd be able to find another job after it was over somehow. well now, i've got 2 years of engineering experience (which seems to be a magic number), gotten some exposure in the industry, learned a lot, etc. hopefully the next job goes as well.
speaking of the next job, it's starting to sink in that i'll be moving away and living by myself. it's kind of sad. i did experience a little of it in college, but there you're surrounded by tons of friends, and opportunities to make them. anyways,
hopefully some of you guys can visit me... at least until i build up my set of wisconsin friends, then i won't need you anymore. (triumph: i keed, i keed)
oh, i did find me a new apartment up there. it seems like a nice area. it's pretty much a normal apartment, with rooms and e'eythang. (plus a washer/dryer...huge) i'm probably gonna move on saturday (the 10th), so if any of you guys are bored and wanna take a <2 hr ride up, you can help me move. yayyy. in exchange, you can listen to me make funny comments based on observations of things that are happening while we move.
but seriously, i probably will have enough manpower for moving since i don't have much stuff, so it's not a big deal, but if you wanna help, it would be appreciated. the most work will probably be trying to figure out how to pimp out my apartment.
