hello.
thanks 3-C for taking me to tapas. it was good.
glad to see the beloved bears beat the packers. now this presents me with a delicate situation at work. i can:
a. gloat about the bears winning
or
b. not mention the bears at all
but i probably will end up doing:
c. while performing my duties at work, casually say to my coworker(s), "so.....did you see the game?" while pretending to be sympathetic to their excuses and continue with subtle, understated jabs until said coworker(s) are visibly annoyed.
bittersweet, celebratory haiku:
bears beat the packers
we're happy, but remember
brown and p-nut jacked
and for the cubs, the "playoff" feeling is starting to hit me, with the wild card race winding down. they better make it. anyways, the playoff feeling is always awesome, although there haven't been many lately in chicago. i guess that intensifies the feeling when there is one.
and you chicagoans may take it for granted, but for the displaced chicagoans, wgn is pretty nice. they show a few cubs/sox games, you can see the chicago news, and they show good a lot of fresh prince and cosby show. that my friends, is what's known as the trifecta.
