a's log:
3rd blog this week, tying my record. stay tuned to see if i break it this week :-0
hey, look new background.
side note: use aim and click on the winking smiley face in size 10 font. it looks like a down's sindrome smiley. hahaha.
anyways, im putting myself under house arrest for a couple of weeks because this national liscensing test i have to take for work is coming up really soon. and i should study, seeing as how i can't work my own shifts until i pass it. we'll see how that goes.
ok remember my list of good things i made in my first blog? here a list of my all time good things that i cant imagine dropping anytime soon:
the simpsons
most people that know me know me as a huge simpsons fan. i dont claim to be anywhere near the level of the most obsessive simpsons fans, but, yeah, i like simpsons. you can tell from my yearbook from senior year in high school. people would write things like: "you crazy simpsons nut, it was nice being your lab partner", or "you are the biggest simpsons fan i know, have a good summer". anyways, the simpsons will need a full blog devoted to it; actually probably everything on this list will have a blog devoted to it.
smashing pumpkins
smashing pumpkins are good. in fact, so good that they are the best band ever (in my opinion). i always liked them since i first got into white music in 1994ish. but i got obsessed in a very short span (about 2 months) a couple of years ago. anyways, i should explain about how i got to be obsessed with them sometime, it's quite funny i think.
calvin & hobbes
ive read calvin and hobbes ever since i was 8 yrs old, when my dad used to buy the tribune, instead of suntimes. i used to call it "calvin and hobbies" back then, leading to b also calling it that. i used to like it and got into it because i liked how a tiger was in a comic strip, and how it was cool. now, i like it because it's funny. what a novel concept, funny cartoons. theres also a lot of social commentary in it that is interesting. anyways, me and b have a lot of the books, everyone can come over and read them. haha.
3's company
this used to be #1 on the list, before it got unseated by the simpsons and the next item on this list. but its the most classic tv show for me. it always reminds me of my childhood, because it was me, b and my dad's favorite show when i was around 8 yrs old. dont know why. its always been funny to me. its weird because when i watch it with b, all the jokes are funny, but when i watch it with chras, they dont seem as funny. i think its because chras doesnt think the jokes are funny. oh well.
seinfeld
this is the newest item on the list. i never really got into seinfeld until i was able to watch it in syndication. actually i dont get into most tv shows until they make syndication. anyhoo, this is just a funny show. i actually downloaded all of the episodes and put them on cd. oh that reminds me, i was supposed to copy those for amol. oops. ill get on it soon.
anyways, theres the list. ill probably write a blog on all of these someday, cause they deserve it. this blog wasnt that funny, but at least i got to put out propoganda on stuff i like. ok time to sleep. layytes.

is about to CONNECT WITH CARLTON'S HEAD! (its from fresh prince)
well, i don't have any funny (real) stories, but i have some time, so i'll write a blog now. ill just write about random stuff that ive been thinking about. ok, readysetgo:
MINI BLOG #1: bad bands
the worst thing that someone can go do is to go see live music by a band/performer that they dont like. well except for working. and doing homework. and whale gutting in the arctic. (i think only b will get that because it's an obscure 3's company reference. but i dont really care if b is entertained by my blogs. and i dont even know if she reads my blogs. oh well)
that reminds me. me and b refer to 3's company as tres companeros for some reason. it should be tres fabricas, but companeros sounds better, dont you think. (no, i dont use question marks that often)
anyways, i was thinking about this because this past weekend, i saw sugar ray play in summerfest. it was the worst one i've seen yet. i think because it was sad to see so many people liking such horrible music being spewed forth. (yes, i believe people can enjoy any type of music they want, but its funnier to make fun of them than to say: i think because it was sad to see so many people liking such horrible music being spewed forth, although i am tolerant of people having such tastes.) also, it reminded me of bad sugar ray songs that i forgot existed. theres a lot more than i thought. plus, you havent felt pain until you sit (or stand) through a dragged out 10 minute version of "fly". the worst part was that mark mcgrath kept talking in between songs. im definitely not against the artist talking in concerts, but please have something funny to say. one of the best parts of watching pumpkins concerts was banter from billy and james. but they dont talk between every song. thank buddha we only stayed for 6 songs. anyways, thats that.
MINI BLOG #2 : an old friend called television...er, i mean vic
a cool part about last weekend was that i got to hung out with vic. havent hung out with him for a while, what with the hundreds of miles between us and all, but it was nice to see him again. even though we had to endure sugar ray. what? oh yeah, i talked about them already. (hey, a question mark!) anyways, i dont know if its this way for a lot of people, or just me, but i thought it was interesting how you can hang out with someone just like you hung out with them all the time way back when, even though you havent seen them for that much in a long period of time, or talked to them that much. same with my friend scott, who i havent seen since high school and only talk to a little on AIM. maybe im such a cool guy, people would do anything to hang out with me. harhar.
well, i cant only have 2 mini blogs, so:
MINI BLOG #3: girl rating system
maybe this deserves a full blog, but i dont have time. anyways, me and rod were talking yesterday about ratings a little. my friends used to make fun of me because of my girl rating scale. whenever they asked me to rate a girl, they would apply the "piya factor". which is usually about 2-3 points. which is a significant amount. so, say i think a girl is 8 and good, shes actually 6 and eh. or they think a girl is 6 and ok, i think is 4 and not good. so basically i usually dont like girls they like, and do like girls they dont like. but a lot of times we agree i guess. anyways, we were saying if a chick likes you, you might think that she's better than she actually is. i would give it a 2-3 point adjustment. so, if a girl is 8 and hot, if she likes you, she would be 9.7 and really really hot (i dont give 10s). or if she is 6 and eh, if she likes you, she would be 8 and pretty good. so, all you 6s out there take heart, theres hope for you yet. hahaha jk. anyways, maybe ill do a full report on this science some other time.
ok, one more:
MINI BLOG #4: jose hernandez
jose hernandez (better known as jose spic from amol) is an all-star. for major league baseball. jose hernandez. formerly of the cubs. he used to bat .260 and get 10 HR and 40 RBI per season. oooooooook.
ok im done. wakka: it's over.

hi.
wow, havent made a blog in a long time. so you figure i must have all this cool and interesting stuff to write about stored for a week, right? wrong. but i should write something, or people wont check my blog. "throw me a fricking bone here!" - dr. evil
well, i can give you an update of what happened this week. 42 hours of work, a thai mafia 4th of july bbq, a visit to milwaukee. and from all of this, nothing cool happened. boy, i am an interesting guy, huh?
well there was this one interesting thing that happened. thursday i was driving home from work on rt 53, and i guess i was going a little fast, so this cop pulled me over. so he comes up and i roll down my window (i was using the nx, not the camry. that song "hero" by the guy from nickleback and saliva was playing on my radio (sorry, i had a mental lapse and didnt change to another station). so then the cop goes, "ok, fags that like this song need to be regulated. step out of the vehicle please." needless to say, i was thinking "wtf is going on?". so then i have my hands on the hood and he searches me. blah blah blah. then he goes into the glove compartment finds this little baggy of "stuff" i had from my earlier days. i was like: "nice". then he says, "so you like to have fun, huh". i go "uhhh, no." so then he says "you give me this, and i'll let you go, ok?" i said: "uh, ok." then he took it, gave me a salute, and drove off.
actually, this didnt happen, but wouldnt it be a funny story if it did? sorry, running out of material. i will think of some more funny (real) stories some other time. okbye.
