i just had to brag about winning the alcohol portion of stroke's haiku contest. i thought my best one was about stork's hugeness though. it went up against some juggernauts, though. also congrats to dudo for sharing the blog title.
tomorrow is my NERC audit. hopefully i dont choke.

me and b are gonna hang out in milwaukee on march 21st, anyone wanna come? oh yeah, by hanging out, i mean we'll be watching ZWAN. anyways, tickets go on sale this saturday at 11am, so if anyone wants to go, talk to me before then.
this will be my 8th blog in 10 days. that is by far my best stretch of blogging ever. a lot of it is zwan boosted, but at least i wrote stuff.
did anyone hear about bananas? the suntimes said that the grocery types of bananas will become extinct in the next 10 years. that sucks, because i like bananas. i guess theres some fungus wiping out plantations, and they need to do some genetic engineering to save bananas. i bet dudo wouldn't miss bananas that much, according to his blog, hahah. be careful what you wish for. i couldn't imagine life without bananas. if you wanna make someone slip, what do you do? no more banana peels. if you see someone is aroused because they see you, you can't say "is that a banana in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?", because everyone knows theres no bananas left.
side note on bananas: when me and b were little kids (like 7 and 5 years old) we'd use to eat bananas with american cheese, because our mom fed them to us. its not bad. also, another weird food habit in our family (also when we were 7 and 5 years old), my parents would put american cheese and shrimp on tombstone pizza. it was good.
also, i wanna give anuj props for making a new blog.

dudo informed me he is my 1000th visitor to my blog. well, actually 1000th since i put the meter up. congrats.
i bought the new zwan cd and dvd today. the album might rival ok computer for best non-pumpkins album. but i have to let it sink in fully first. but its really good. the dvd is also good. in it, they ask paz what she does in her spare time. she likes doing stuff in her bed, both alone and not alone, and she likes porn, among other things. sounds like my kind of girl. haha jk.
oh yeah, there was a big picture of them on the front page of the suntimes today, too. that made my day.
ok, im gonna talk about kettle corn now. ive been thinking a lot about kennel corn after reading dudo's comment extravaganza on his last blog. kennel corn is the biggest paradox ever for me. i'll eat it, and it's good, bad, and "eh" at the same time. if you put a bowl in front of me, i'd probably eat it. but i wouldn't like it. i wouldn't hate it either. because you can taste some salt and butter elements, but it kinda gets clouded by the sweetness. but i do like sweet popcorn, like caramel popcorn. but it's not really that sweet.
when the snow is like how it was today, it's the easiest to shovel. it wasn't that cold or windy. it was only a few inches, too. so i was able to use my one-handed shovel method. i dont know if others use this technique. basically, it entails using one hand to shovel really fast. thought-provoking, isn't it. the key is to use a plastic shovel, because those are a lot lighter than the metal ones. the other key is to make sure no one has driven over the snow yet, or you get those clumps that get stuck and are a bitch to get out. that's when you have to bust out the metal one.
in other news, i bought some more ice cream again today. i bought breyers popsicles. they aren't as good as dole, but are better than welch's. im becoming a popsicle expert. funny how i hardly ate any during the summer. it's probably due to my dad. he always wants to eat popsicles lately.
work is gonna suck this week. there's an audit that i'm kindof nervous about on friday. hopefully it goes ok.
wow, this is the worst blog ever. im not feeling very creative lately, sorry. anyways, laters.

nothing happened today, i'll just see what i type.
first, ill plug stork's haiku contest here, so he will get some entries, and then i can see if i win faster. haha. also, his latest post is funny. i guess being tall and white has some advantages. i bet i can still kick his ass in multiplication tables, though. hmm, i think i used that joke before, but i can't remember. oh well.
tomorrow is ZWAN day. yay. i love the time period when a band you love has a new album coming out, and they start touring, and you can see them on tv everywhere, and read reviews about their album. im waking up at 7am to tape zwan interviews on wgn and fox morning shows. they showed a clip of them playing at the museum of science and industry today. they were playing under that huge plane that you can walk in and sit and stuff. anyways, after that, gonna buy the cd/dvd sometime. then watch the dvd and watch all the paz parts. hahaha. ill post my impressions of the cd/dvd later, even though i've heard the album already.
im not sure if i wrote about this before, but i'll explain the origin of the name mcpheeny.
origin of mcpheeny
i guess i made up this name about 5 or 6 years ago, maybe. basically, i got it from adding a "mc" in front of pheeny. and i got pheeny from mr. feeny, the principal in boy meets world. i thought his name was mr. pheeny, not mr. feeny, which i found out from seeing his nameplate on one of the episodes. anyways, whenever people would wanna know where we should go eat or hang out (usually thai mafia i think), i would always say "mcpheeny's", because no one would know where to go. i don't do that anymore, though. i should bust it out more often. anyways, then i used it as my screen name, and made it a part of my identity forever. actually i have mcpheenys as my screen name now because i had an aol account for a month using mcpheeny, so i couldnt use that for my aim account. but i think mcpheenys is still cool. i think it's a quality screen name.
im watching groundhog day now. andie macdowell is hot. i have a thing for brown/red curly haired chicks. heres a list:

hello.
thanks to some creative schedule juggling, and coolness of the people that work here, and favors i will regret later, i was able to arrange it so i could come into work today later, so i would be able to do what i wanted to. im glad i was able to. although as part of the arrangements i made, i have to dust off my kneepads and handcuffs. damn, i thought those days were over. harharhar.
anyways, i think there was a month's worth of stories squeezed into one night last night. but i think thats cool, because you don't dwell on one thing, you think about all of them a little, so maybe 4 things to worry about get shrunk into 4 little things to worry about at once. anyways, it was a fun night. there were a lot of people there.
so on the way home i wasnt feeling too good, because i got kinda wasted. and when you dont move around, and are just sitting, it makes you feel worse. and i puked a little on the street, right before i went to move the car in the driveway. that was kinda annoying. one funny thing was when i went inside at almost 3 AM, my mom was basically like "so, you ready for work now?" when i obviously looked crappy(she stays up late watching thai movies). but thats because she didn't know i arranged to work later. hahaha. theres no way i coulda made it to work if i had to leave an hour later.
well, the super bowl sucked. but at least no doubt was performing at halftime. and they did "just a girl", which is a quality song. gwen didnt sound that good, though. oh well. maybe she had a cold. hahahaa. her voice was more husky than usual. she's hot though. also, playing squares for the super bowl is frustrating.
look, no zwan. dont worry, i bet i talk about them tomorrow.
