hello.

sorry i haven't written in a while. anuj said to update because he's bored.

one thing i was thinking of. theres this one seinfeld where george is eating with him mom at the coffee shop. they're talking and stuff, and george goes: "you take tv out of this relationship, and it will cease to exist!" ... i guess because all george does with his mom is watch tv. i was thinking, aim is kinda like that for me, although definitely not as extreme. i don't really see people that much, but all the aim conversations kindof bridges the gap (i'm not a phone person). i'm not saying aim is a good replacement for human contact, but it's better than nothing. the example that made me think of this is stooork. i only see stork like once or twice a month, when we go out (if that much), but i feel like i know him as well as when we lived together because every time i go on aim, he's there to talk to. again, i'm not saying without aim i'd lose half my friends, but it might be different without it.

i finally bit the bullet and bought xbox live (plus rainbow six). i figgers since it's like 50 bucks for a whole year, it's has good value, since i spend more than that buying drinks and stuff when i go out sometimes. i kind of feel retarded talking to people through that headset, but it's still pretty funny. everyone should buy and xbox and xbox live so i have people to play with me.

i'd like that song by jet a lot more if i didn't hear it like 20 times a day. it's that one song they play for the ipod commercial where it's all instrumentational, then it stops and this guy kindof sings/talks "1,2,3, something something look so fine and you really blow my something something", then a little more instrumentation, then it repeats. the madden commercial also uses that song.

i'm going through hold'em withdrawal, i haven't played in like...over a week.

oh, i'm in the middle of watching the band of brothers miniseries. it's really good. one thing that kindof almost derails you from the series, is that in the first episode david schwimmer plays this hardass company leader, yelling all the time and putting them through hellacious drills. he's pretty good in the role, but... ITS ROSS. throughout the whole episode, it's hard to get away from the fact that HE'S ROSS. i don't think anyone from friends can do anything else again without being associated with their character. jennifer aniston from office space wasn't really as disturbing, because she wasn't that much different from her character, but ROSS CAN'T BE MEAN!!

laters.
