hello.
sidenote: this has been one of my worst blog writing stretches. sorry. i just haven't had much to write about, and am too lazy to face the daunting task of writing the next choose your own adventure. but hopefully i'll get to that sometime.
so i guess it turns out that carolina and NE had to play one of the best super bowls ever when i couldn't watch. ::mad face:: and my coworker had sports talk on the radio after the game, and i had to listen to all the callers talk about how awesome the game was, rubbing salt, lime juice, and jalapeno peppers into the wound. PLUS, apparently there was a homer/mastercard commercial during the game. oh well, even listening to the game was entertaining... but still, i'm watching sportscenter highlights of the game right now and i'm becoming more and more bitter. here are some of my other random thoughts on the game:
- the deification of tom brady is complete. he might turn out to be the most clutch player ever, and winning 2 super bowl mvps in his first 3 seasons of starting is impressive, but i'm already putting him on my "do not draft" list for next year's dudo league fantasy draft because i'm starting to hate him.
- this game was another example of how squib kicks seem to screw you more often than not. maybe that's why they don't let you do them in madden.
- delhomme better be praising buddha that he didn't get signed by the bears and become corrupted by them. daylight come an' you wanna delhomme.
- what's up with "he hate me" just running back the last kickoff into a glut of NE players? tons of crazy laterals are one of my favorite things in football, and that was the only time to do them. i hate rod smart.
- there's a guy with the last name "favors" on the panthers. i was thinking it would be hilarious if his nickname was "sexual". hahah.
well, at least good old drudgereport is all over this janet jackson thing. they have an animated gif of what happened, and a huge picture of her right boob. hahahah. here's a quote from justine about it:
"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."
hahaha. wardrobe malfunction. funny stuff.
