from yesterday's game:
4th inning - down by 3. runner on 2nd, 0 outs. he brings in kelton to pinch hit...tells him to bunt, ends up striking out.
6th inning - down by 2. runner on 2nd, 2 outs. he brings in glendon rusch to pinch hit, ends up flying out.
ok, rusch is a pretty decent hitter for a pitcher, but this is ridiculous. you bring in a power hitter who probably has bunted 4 times in his career to sacrifice, then you bring a pitcher in to try get a hit to score a run. obviously switching these two would have been better.
job hunt update
well, i had 3 interviews in the span of 7 days. looks like i'll be getting offers from all of them. yay. but i have no idea right now how to decide, so maybe i'll do that thing that uncle jesse and joey did when they had to pick between working at home and taking that advertising job, using a scale and rocks to balance it out.
