hello.
- well, illini had a good season, but still a pretty stomach-punching outcome. 2006 national champions though. book it.
- who would've thought that brian roberts be the stud so far, and not marcus giles out of the "2nd basemen who i initially thought was black due to his name" group that i drafted?
- so i was bored today and went to play poker at the casino. i decided to play pot limit, and asked the guy what the buyin was. he goes "200", so i go get 200 in chips. then i sit down and look around and see that everyone else has on avg 1k in chips, with a couple in the 2-3k range and the next lowest above me at like 600.... so i quickly learn from another player that 200 is the min. buyin and apparently theres no max. suddenly i felt pretty inadequate. we might as well have pulled down our pants and flopped our wangs onto the table for all to compare. anyways, i was able to battle for like 4 hours, but busted out on pocket kings that didn't hold up. oh well, it was still fun.
- i'm thinking of doing another tv blog. i did one like two years ago i think, where i just went through every channel and wrote something about whatever was on that channel. it'll take a lot longer now, since i have more channels, but we'll see.
